After State, we went back to rebuild and improve our robot, the V3 VectTurrAir. We added a 24-ball autonomous, and a new shooter/launcher with 2 counter-rollers bringing backspin to near zero. A massive upgrade from V2!
After being the Winning Alliance Finalist along with Knight Owls, We advanced to the Illnois State tournament. Placing #9 overall out of 48 teams! Advancing us to the Michiana Premier Event
Paired with Knight owls, We were the winning alliance finalist at our League tournament which allowed us to advance to states!
Our V2 VectAir with its Airsort system — allowing mid-air ball sorting by changing hood angle — and a rapid-fire rate of 0.12s with a 21-ball autonomous placed us 4th overall. The 16-inch vectored silicone intake with 0.4s sidespike truly shone.
A huge improvement from LM1! WE built our first version of our V2 bot with an adjustable hood allowing us to shoot from anywhere on the field and airsort. Placing us #4 at LM2
Huge thanks to FRC Tees for sponsoring us! As a leading provider of custom apparel for robotics teams and a proud supporter of STEM globally, their backing brings us one step closer to our team goals.
We are incredibly grateful to the Gene HAAS Foundation for their Platinum sponsorship! As a leading CNC machine manufacturer and STEM champion worldwide, this grant is a game-changer for our program's growth and capabilities.
Our first robot, codenamed Vector (V1), used a spindexer design. While it had severe jamming issues and couldn't meet performance targets, it taught us invaluable lessons about ball handling and system integration that shaped every iteration that followed.
